Green screen preview error?

Is this iOS or Windows?
If Windows, did you install the latest plugins LocalSettingsComponents v1.1.0.105 and Webplugins v4.0.2402.3 ?
Those two plugins must be accepted to run on Windows Startup and must be running in background seen in Task Manager - Processes as LocalServiceComponents.exe(32bit) and WebPluginService.exe(32bit)

Windows.
I don't think they are there. How do I get them?

Top right on your Configuration screen -> Download Plug-in, about the LocalSettingsComponents v1.1.0.105

I don't remember about Webplugins v4.0.2402.3 but I think it's installed with iVMS4200 when entering Remote Configuration-Basic Settings
and a whatever setting that needs preview.

Or go to:

You need to reboot and during Windows startup you will be asked twice for accepting running those two above

It's all gone wrong. Looks like it's reset to factory.
Had to do a password reset. Then it's back up but no hik connect now.

Disable Hik-Connect, wait a few minutes and then re-enable. Sometimes this solves the issue of no Hik-Connect

It's not ticked in the nvr menu now. And when I tick it asks for verification code. Hik connect just shows offline on all cameras.
I'm in the process of updating all the firmware then will take a look at this. See if it dropped it out.

Just uploading 61020 at moment

Do you mean tick the camera on Hikconnect app?
In HikConnect app all cameras are offline after a Clear Data or uninstall - reinstall the app and verification code is always necessary to Live view stream.
In NVR GUI (Menu) under Network-Platform Access if Enabled you can see(if eye is pressed) the Verification Code or you can change the Verification Code.

It's updated now. Will leave the cameras for another day lol.
Where do I find my verification code to enable hik connect? I presume i will need to re install it again?

I suppose that last picture shows that you need to create a new one Verification Code. But you can use the same one you had in the past. In any case you need to add one. Otherwise there won't be live stream. I don't know if there is an option to disable Verification Code on your NVR but I think it's not safe

I don't remember ever doing 1? Unless there is a default?

There's not a default, it always makes you set one when you enable Hik-Connect, but it's probably reset :)
Hopefully, the cameras will come back online once you've set the new verification code and enabled Hik-Connect again.
The app will probably ask you to enter the verification code when you try and view the cameras.
You can disable it again (once it's set and Hik-Connect is showing as online) by unticking the 'stream encryption' box on that platform access page.

A massive thank you to all the help as always. Now back up and running again. Almost. Just don't get push notifications when camera triggered. Will be a setting somewhere I'm sure

Make sure you have Notify Surveillance Centre ticked on the Linkage Method page for the event, I'm guessing that turned itself off after one of the updates too.

Just 1 last 1. It has a pop up saying wrong encryption key on the setting page for the events. Where do I sort that?

That's a new one for me... Can you send a screenshot of where you're seeing it please?
I guess disabling stream encryption on the platform access page should get rid of that popup anyway.
