I dont know exactly without checking, but its the same camera and firmware of a camera that it is effecting, so cant be cam/cam firmware relatedWhat camera model with fw version does it not effect?
That's interesting. I guess the only way to figure it out is if you have different settings between the two.I dont know exactly without checking, but its the same camera and firmware of a camera that it is effecting, so cant be cam/cam firmware related
I'll keep my fingers crossed!I've just pinged another e mail to Hikvision support uk, as it has been around 6 weeks now since I reported (and they confirmed) the problems.
Well I hope I don't get any new NVR's shipped to me with this FW version or else the first thing I'm going to do is have to downgrade it.I just received a response:
"Hi John
This case is still under investigation, we will update you once we confirm the situation."
I 'd best not hold my breath then.....
I'd be tempted to go back to the V4 firmware. I've been racking my brains to find a reason not to. None of the issues I mentioned at the start of this post (and that have been brought up elsewhere) exist in 4.63.020_230808. Pros and cons for downgrade to version 4:Well I hope I don't get any new NVR's shipped to me with this FW version or else the first thing I'm going to do is have to downgrade it.
Yeah it’s pretty unacceptable IMHO. Release a firmware that’s not thoroughly tested, acknowledge that there are repeatable issues, and then not resolve them in a timely manner. Unfortunately there seems to be a complete disconnect between regional support and HQ.Still no updates on this makes me sad
I still find issues with some of the changes...
I'd say so. I had no choice previously than to revert to 5.03.010 as playback was no use to me without the human motion markers. By reverting to that version (5.03.101) I'd lost live view and playback in Safari that 5.04 had fixed. So the new build is an improvement but there's still a lot I don't like. When I've got some time I'll go through the other things that I found to see if anything else has changed and report back. At least one of the issues I'd made Hik support aware of when I reported the motion markers issue so will raise again if necessary.I plan to load this new release later today... overall, is it an improvement?

I have the new release loaded now and I see the motion markers are now back.
What "minimum" settings are required on a G5 camera to have the motion markers? Which of these must be turned on:

This firmware is complete trash. G3 camera just generated 46 separate alarms as one person triggers a motion zone.Hmmmm - I take it all back...it was fixed and works with all of my cameras on 5.7.15 (G5). As soon as I updated one camera to 5.7.19 the motion markers are lost again (for that camera) in both Hik-Connect and locally. What a shit show
@johnfitzy are yours working, or was that why you were asking which options needed selecting?
Strange - I've never had it enabled but always had the function working (pre 5.7.15 and before). I'm not sure what's gone on this morning. All of my cameras were on G5 5.7.15 with motion detection markers working after installing the new build to fix the issue. As soon as I've changed one camera to 5.7.19 motion markers are no longer displayed, downgraded it back to 5.7.15 and it's still not working. I've no faith that Hikvision can release anything that works at the moment...About the Dynamic Analysis, according to their instructions on the
