Line detection set on new camera but not triggering

Since the update my Hikconnect has also failed to show thumbnails, it did before

I have downloaded the file but can not load it up as my computer now has a connection error when trying to log in since doing the port forwarding.
 
I have jumped back and when the nvr rebooted I had to put in a password. Verify a password and do an email.
The ports I put in it are back to default. My app no longer sees an nvr and device portal won't let me connect. It must have bricked itself!!
 
Update. Green screen is gone. I got the app back. After getting the app back online through the nvr.
 
Crossed fingers it is. Was panicking for a while. But I can now log in on a Web browser and the app again. In the app it loaded up in HD with out the green screen.

If this really is the issue then it's a major balls up. An update that knackers the 8mp live view in HD and play back footage.
 
Can we report it to Hikvision, I'm sure it's affecting a lot of people and this isn't cheap equipment
 
So I just need to download the previous firmware version and upgrade in the usual way?
 
That's what I did. But be prepared for some configuration issues. I had to do a few things to get my system working with my app and Web browser again. Might just have been unlucky. My suggestion is to screen shot your settings just incase
 
Hmm, I'm terrified lol, I haven't a clue how to correct things when they go wrong!
 
My hd on my 8mp now. No green screens.
I just need to get my notifications working again. I get live view but not notifications lol. Seems like a bit of investigation is needed.

I wouldn't know where to start. I contacted them 3 weeks ago when I got the green screen. They never got back to me.
I think we need to test if stepping back works for everyone. If it does we may need to wait for another update to the nvr to see if they fixed anything!
