Need help updating cams and nvr

Additionally. In the NVR go to:

System Settings > Network > Hik-Connect > More Settings (top right)

In the pop up ensure Stream Encryption is off and also Adaptive Bitrate Streaming should be off.

System Settings > Network > Network Service > NAT - UPnP should be OFF

When you've checked/done all of the above:

Reboot the Sky Hub (to clear DNS cache and connections)
Reboot the NVR

Did everything u said mate that 1 adaptive was on so turned it off. Reset everything even deleted app again still not sorted. Strange init, if helps what we notice if we watch live view on phone we can see postman at the door on live view but on the monitor he is out gate getting in his van lol.

The Ip address shown is simply a device you are or have recently been logged in from using a web browser (rather than the NVR IP address) so forget about that.

In your first photo...go back to that screen and turn ON 'platform time sync'. That will ensure that your NVR time is synchronised with Hik-Connect. Your phone and Hik-Connect app need to be at the same time as the NVR and cameras.

Scrap that can’t be WiFi it’s connected directly into the nvr via lan cable.

The Hik-Connect app is sometimes updated 3 times in 1 week.

But your phone is not and the app needs permission to access devices on the local network. Firstly you need to ensure the app has permission.

For an iPhone that would be in Settings > Apps > Hik-Connect and turn on the 'Local Network' switch.

For an Android Open a browser > Go to Apple Store > Buy an iPhone > follow the above

What is the result if you disconnect from your home WiFi and use mobile data? Is it the same or do your cameras load normally?

Make sure you're not using a 'Guest' WiFi network as these block device to device communication within the LAN.

Just sorted that it was the adaptive streaming switch I had to switch that back on to get the event notifications back on mate

Sorry just 1 last thing. I have a feeling it’s something to do with the hub. As the only 2 things that’s connected via lan is the nvr and my sons ps5. And he said his running slow for ages now! Just looked at the back of the sky hub max and here is no data lights flashing at all. Iam sure there was always lights flashing. it shows is connected and signal and it does work but no data lights

Have you checked the Firewall settings on your router?
Is this the Default or something like Medium or High?
Are there any Parental Control Rules?

But it’s always worked before… is it normal for them data lights not to flash u no? I may contact sky and ask them but they will see everting is connected and working from there side

Just been on phone ti sky. Did all checks everything is fine: did a speed test with the ps5 connected directly into the hub and it’s perfect. I mentioned the data lights they said ignore it as it shows it’s connected and working very well arrrrr man think will just let it be

I mentioned my problem with the hik and he mentioned ip address like that’s where the problem might be or it’s the app itself.
