Hi all,

Recently i’ve installed the Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 doorbell. The doorbell is super fast and when someone push the doorbell button almost instantly my mobile phone rings with the Hik-connect app.

But there is also a irritating problem. When you push the button on the doorbell (main unit outside) the bell is making a "beep" sound like it's calling a phone. When nobody answer the bell by the mobile phone, because I open the door quick, the doorbell keep making that "beep" sound and eventually a women voice is saying that the call could not be answered.

Is there a way, to make it silent, or at least minimize adjust the sound?
So when someone is pushing the button, there is NO beep sound outside????
Please help because it is very irritating me.

Hi,
Did you find a solution? I have the same problem.

Hi,

It's supposed to be that way. You press the button, it calls. Answer (or reject) the call from an indoor station or the phone app and it will stop. The door station is unaware that you have answered the door. I'm sure it is technically possible for Hikvision to make one of the inputs a door monitoring input for connection to a contact (so that opening the door cancels the call) but they won't. Apart from answering the call the easiest way to cancel it, is to just press the doorbell a second time while it is ringing and that will cancel the call (but it's pretty annoying if you have an indoor chime as that will cause the chime to go again)
