Hik-Connect A better (paid?) iOS App???

Is there a better app than hikconnect - even if it’s a paid app?

I connect through IP, not hikconnect service.

I’ve always used ivms-4500, but since upgrading to the new iPhone, it’s stopped working.

I miss the “live” screens on opening the app (hikconnect app is static thumbnails?!)

Also - having all streams as HD, without it reverting back each load - so sound works.

And finally - being able to order the camera in the 16 chan view, not just the order they are loaded by the nvr.

Any other ip cam app that works with the Hikvision cameras and is safe to use??

iVMS-4500 Version 4.7.11 (build 20211023) still works on my iPhone 14 Plus (iOS Version 18.2) ... I'm guessing you upgraded to an iPhone 15 or 16?

You can still use the Hik-connect app to "Add Device Manually" and select "IP/Domain" but I don't think you will get notifications. I tested this... it works well if you are running a VPN server for access from outside your home network.

There is a way to use OpenAPI and SDK for HCTeams and HikPartnerPro, im currently working on android version, since i dont have mac. I cant really publish for IOS. Neither i want to pay them to publish

Set your camera sub streams to ‘Video and audio’ Problem sorted (running a multi screen in HD on a mobile device should not be necessary and will likely affect performance due to the device connection and its decoding capabilities)

Click Me, Settings, and turn on Resume Latest Live View. Problem sorted

Add the cameras to a group in any order you want and play the group. The multi screen view will be in the order you selected. Problem sorted
