Yes but you also need to check the device as well. What model indoor station are you using?

The 4 pin JST ZH connector looks the same as mine on the NVR. The black Tx wire on the JST ZH connector assembly should be around 3Vdc, I measured mine with an oscilloscope, a DVM should be the same.

hello, I have a similar problem. was it possible to update the device via rs232?

It should be, but even mine bootloader didnt came up, it was replaced eventually by another device
