New version 4 Firmware for HikVision NVRs

You don't mention what NVR model you have?
I don't know where you found that version of firmware?

The only V4 firmware I am aware of is for HikVision's -I NVRs. It is V4.1.10 and is dated 13th November 2017:

Perhaps try upgrading / downgrading via the Batch Config Tool:

NB - The usual caveats e.g. we only work with genuine HikVision Western Region (UK) products and cannot advise what will work for other hardware.

Hi,
NVR model is DS-9632NI-I16 and i download firmware from hikvision usa i think it not compatible firmware with nvr model
first nvr did not accept firmware but after same days i turn off nvr and turn on it again i found nvr with new firmware interface and old configuration but i can`t login
when i connect serial cable and when turn on nvr i can`t see any thing in putty program put when type ctrl+u nvr boot with new firmware and i can access nvr
but when turn off nvr again problem came again
i need way to erase nvr memory to install new firmware
note : when i connect serial cable i can`t see any thing in putty program
I tried to downgrade firmware but failed
