New ColorVu 8mp IP Cameras and NVR

I'm struggling too... tried loading V4.60.000 (and 005) again and suffered the same consequences... but this time it was on a newly purchased DS-7732NI-I4/16P.... I'm back on V4.51.025

I've got 7 8MP cameras I'm trying to please and the DS-7616NI-I2/16P almost made it...

So, I am finally able to say I have everything working as it should be. I downgraded the NVR firmware to V4.51.025 build 210927. Did a factory reset. entered all my 8mp cameras first. And is working as it should! however when I then tried to add a trusty 6mp dahua camera via onvif, which I have never had a problem with even with all the firmware issues. I was getting the green screen on playback via Hikconnect (direct from the NVR was no issue) and also issues with pictures not loading correctly when previewing from the app. To resolve this I recall a long time ago. Under security on the NVR you have the authentication tab. within that you will have RTSP Authentication & WEB Authentication. Both where set to digest. I changed these to Digest/basic. and now its all working from within the Hikconnect app as intended.

One thing is certain, firmware above V4.51.025 build 210927 does 100% have issues. As soon as I revert back to the latest, the issues return.

Camera settings I am slowly increasing back up on the bitrates. But using H265+ now with no problems.
