Hik-Connect human and vehicle event log ?

I have question i am confused, why when i play back from hik-connent
LAN connection i can’t view human and vehicle event log
But view from WAN (p2p) human and vehicle event log appears.
Any idea why ?

I’m guessing you’re using a separate ‘site’ in Hik-Connect for when you’re home or away. If so the LAN connection is direct using the local IP address and does not support that function. Conversely the WAN P2P connection is using the cloud service and so supports all functions. There’s no reason not to just use the P2P connection when you’re at home on your LAN. I’ll usually add the device using the LAN connection as well as P2P but just rename the local connection to ‘Backup Home WiFi only’
