I am trying to find how to alter the settings for the white light.
I have configured remote on the webpage for my nvr.
I have picked the camera from the page and logged in. But I get live view failed, also there is no menu for white light level.
My camera is a 4mp colorvu series 2 turret

On my 2347G1 led setup is under configuration> system settings> external device tab.

I am looking at the camera and it won't let me tick the check box. I can double click on the right hand side which takes me to the log in again. After logging in I get live view failed. I take it I am not in the camera. Live view works on the nvr conf page.
Do I need to add the camera to my device management page first like I did with the nvr?
Camera is a ds 2cd2347g2 lu

Yeah, that's what I was using.
Maybe there's no ability to adjust the light level

are you sure? It looks like Microsoft Edge. The file should be iexplorer.exe
Ah I see. Sorry I thought you just meant the Internet lol. I will look and see on Internet explorer

It used to be in system settings - it's now moved to "Image" I believe. Seek and you shall find!

For what you're trying to do it doesn't matter which web browser you use as you don't need to see the image while altering the function in this case. Your firmware 5.5.134 is out of date BTW and 5.5.160 is the latest.

OK. How do I get the download? And what is new? Is it worth it?

Usually bug fixes, sometimes improvements. You download the file from the Hikvision UK Portal and then from the cameras maintenance page, browse to the dowloaded file and upgrade. Takes up to 5 mins, camera goes offline and reboots with new version. Your NVR may also be out of date so check that while you there. The link below is to your camera ColorVu G2 camera which is a G3 platform camera. For your NVR if you click through to find Back Ends > NVR then find your model in the list.

This page? How do I know its 5.5.160?

I have downloaded the file. Unzipped it and then copied the unzip and put it on

This PC > Windows (c) > and put it in a folder I created call hikvision.
Is that right?

Then I go through the camera and brouse for the folder to upgrade.
