    The 1 previous. Just had to do some settings again as it had a bit of an issue. It seemed to lose some of the initial set up settings for me.

    Thought I would see if any one has had issues with the v4.60.000 update affecting the 8mp hd viewing in hik connect? I had my ds-7608ni-i2 updated a month ago before I got my 8mp installed. Straight away I had issues trying to view it in HD via the app. I got a green screen. Looking all over...

    I wouldn't know where to start. I contacted them 3 weeks ago when I got the green screen. They never got back to me. I think we need to test if stepping back works for everyone. If it does we may need to wait for another update to the nvr to see if they fixed anything!

    All done. When the nvr bricked itself on the step back it lost the 8888 and 8844 setting. App still shows fully in HD so it must be the update!

    I just changed from h265+ back to 265 and the camera rebooted and now shows offline through the app. OK on nvr though. Should pppoe be enabled at present? My cameras show online on nvr local and Web browser. Just hik connect is offline. Shows off line on hik connect Web browser status as well.

    My hd on my 8mp now. No green screens. I just need to get my notifications working again. I get live view but not notifications lol. Seems like a bit of investigation is needed.

    1 thing I did note was ddns in my nvr local wasn't enabled. Should it have been? I followed everything to the word. As you said it was actually quite simple to do. Once I realised what screens and what limited things to change I really was quite simple. Every time I typed the htts ip address...

    That's what I did. But be prepared for some configuration issues. I had to do a few things to get my system working with my app and Web browser again. Might just have been unlucky. My suggestion is to screen shot your settings just incase

    Crossed fingers it is. Was panicking for a while. But I can now log in on a Web browser and the app again. In the app it loaded up in HD with out the green screen. If this really is the issue then it's a major balls up. An update that knackers the 8mp live view in HD and play back footage.

    Update. Green screen is gone. I got the app back. After getting the app back online through the nvr.

    I have jumped back and when the nvr rebooted I had to put in a password. Verify a password and do an email. The ports I put in it are back to default. My app no longer sees an nvr and device portal won't let me connect. It must have bricked itself!!

    I have downloaded the file but can not load it up as my computer now has a connection error when trying to log in since doing the port forwarding.

    I think I will just put everything back to normal. My app won't accept ddns. Keeps saying connection error. I've no idea what device domain name relates to as it was an f number. Possible serial number for the nvr in the app. User name was also blank. Don't know what that relates to either. My...

    That's because your on 264. That's substream quality isn't it?
