On a home system, Is it possible to turn the recording on or off (say when I am at home ) on any of the recording systems, NAS or dedicated storage, using a simple switch rather than accessing the software.
It isn't possible to stop/start recording via a physical button on the NVR or NAS, if you have an NVR with a directly connected monitor you can stop/start the recording from the GUI of the NVR.
