Stream fine, remote pan&tilt now take 5 mins to respond

Had cam for about a year. Unbranded, I use p2pwificam app. All has been gone up until about 2 weeks ago. The stream is fine but remote commands for pan and tilt from my touch screen, which used to be almost instant, now take around 4 or 5 minutes to take effect on the camera. What's gone wrong?...

Latency issues are often caused by network problems, but 4 or 5 mins is very extreme.
Try working through a sequence of rebooting or power-cycling things:

• the camera
• the device you use to access and control it
• your router
