Smart event on the 2365 camera

Hi all
I have a problem with the 2365 cameras (non C-version). I never got them to record smart events. I have tried everything, just doesn't work.
The latest firmware is 5.6.6-210625.
I have SD cards in the cameras, and I can set it up to record basic events, this is working.
I have enabled "Smart event" in the "Metadata" menu (??), smart event is set up, enabled etc. storage is also ok. I can see, when monitoring in ivms-4200 that it triggers the alarm and my drawn area is red and the red bell is on - but its not recorded. So it can be triggered - but not recorded (it seems).

I have several 2386G2(C) and these works with no problem - but these are also G5 cameras. They are set up the same way.
A complete reset and firmware upgrade didn't help.
I am about to declare that smart event on these cameras just doesn't work.... but why? or am I wrong?

Hi @DK_CAM

Can you share a screenshot of how you have your record schedule set up when you try to record by Smart Event?
Can you also share screenshots of the arming schedule and linkage method menus for the event that you have configured?
