Notifications on mobile

Hi,
Apologies in advance if this is posted to the wrong spot. Today we had HiLook cameras installed. Notification's on Iphone is enabled but when I go and stand and move around at front door I do not receive any notification. I was hoping that I could be at work and then get a notification if someone comes to front door.
Any suggestions as to what I need to do greatly appreciated. I have very little technology ability I'm afraid.

Hi @venz

Is it just cameras that you had installed or cameras connected to an NVR (Network Video Recorder)?
Did the installer tell you that they had enabled any smart events when setting up the cameras/NVR?
Did they tell you/leave you the IP addresses for the cameras/NVR?
