I've recently been made redundant, i'm in my mid 50's and can't find another job in the UK after hundreds of applications.
I've worked in IT for 40 years, I have good knowledge of IP networks and computers and want to get into installing IP Camera systems.
So I understand POE and IP addressing, video streams and recorders etc.
I need to install an 8 camera system with 5 indoor and 3 outdoor, CAT6 has been installed and I plan to use a POE camera system.
Could anyone recommend a good system with support for installation/setup?
I need good client software that can access the cameras on the phone/PC etc. not a cheap app full of ads
Also would like cameras that work well in the dark and well and daylight
