we have found some problems with our CCTV systems
The first system:
NVR: DS-7608NI-E2 with 4 cams set to (mainstream)1920x1080 10 fps with variable rate and (substream) 640x480 10 fps with variable rate.
The second system is:
NVR: DS-7616NI-K2 with 11 cams set to (mainstream) 1280x720 10 and some with 15 fps with variable rate. The substream is set as in first system.
Both of them have WD Purple series HDD and H264 or H264+ encondings
The problem is when user want to see for e.g. from 4 or 9 cam view only one (fullscreen), image will freeze for 7 to 20 seconds, then it will show fullscreen without problems
There are no problems with playback.
First system has NO motion detection, events, notifications or alarms set up.
The problems occur when using live view:
- 1st system local IP browser connection, hikconnect and IVMS-4200 and
- 2nd system sometimes hikconnect, but mostly IVMS-4200
IVMS-4200 is connected to hikconnect (no local ip)
It is in one company network
We tried:
- adjusting MTU on network devices,
- hardware reboots,
- changing network components (1Gbps internal network)
- even we changed one camera (not solved the issue)
- different firmware versions, different computers, browser components, different stream settings (fps, bitrate, encondings)
The second system is in hot enviroment, so it could be caused by HDD overheating, but first is in temperature controlled rack
