Hik and Honeywell

Does anyone know how to master reset a Honeywell hvex 1 encoder via the reset button, I’ve tried the usual power on 15s etc but doesn’t seem to work , I believe these to be HIK .

Hi @Sammybongo

Please confirm you are doing the reset procedure as follows:

1) Power off the device
2) Hold down the reset button
3) Whilst holding the button, power the device on
4) Continue to hold the reset button for 30 seconds

With some older models, the hard reset procedure takes longer so it might be worth holding the reset button for 30 seconds.
