Hi Everyone. I am a very new newbie to networking, and fine this forum invaluable for help and assistance.
I am more than happy with my camera setup. and it's working really well. Just one thing i did find, that the browsers used on windows 10 ie... chrome. edge, firefox etc.. were making my cctv viewing incredibly choppy and jerky sometimes ghosting and freezing. possibly something to do with having to many things running in the background (I am not sure) of the browsers.
BUT ........ since finding out about and downloading iVMS-4200, my screen view is so much clearer and runs like silk. never a single frame drop. I suppose that's the difference in using a bit of software thats designed specifically for CCTV.
