I have a ds-1280zj-dm21 junction box and went to fit it to the exterior brick wall on the front of my house.
As the bricks are not level, I noticed there's a fair few gaps around the edges where rain could enter especially through the hole in the middle where the ethernet cable will be and I was concerned this could fill the box up on a bad weather day.
Do people just apply some sealant around the edges and the centre hole to avoid this issue when mounting to an uneven surface?
