    M Series Motion Detection

In the local UI - go into the storage menu > advanced (I think) and there's a tick box that's off by default "Save camera VCA data". Tick that and the markers should begin to populate for future events.

    DS-KV6113-WPE1(C) and VCA events

Try "deviceIntercomIOTevent", it might be there. I have the M Serries and that's where it was on V4 firmware but it was removed altogether in V5 so I'm not sure.

    M Series Motion Detection

It depends whether you're doing it on the local interface or using a browser. On the local interface click the Config (gear wheel) icon then Events (I think...I'm on V5 so can't remember exactly but it should be fairly obvious). Using a web browser it's Configuration > Event > Basic Event >...

    Double Image on all cameras

Best to start a new post and include the following information: Camera model number DVR model number How is the camera powered - PoC or 12V How is the camera wired - coax or twisted pair Dedicated cable to the camera or other cameras in the same cable

Conditional Hikvision G3 ColorVu Siren/Light Triggering

Not directly. Motion detection can be configured to trigger the output as can the alarm input. However you’re looking for AND logic rather than OR where either will trigger it. You could possibly set motion detection to trigger the alarm output at all times and have the gate close signal...

How to get the highest quality stream on iPad from remote camera

There's no problem getting the main stream on Hik-Connect, you just touch the icon to switch from SD (sub stream) to HD (main stream).

Hikvision DS-7208HUHI-K2/P beeping after removing second drive

Hmmm - not sure then, if nothing appears when you tick the box to the left of the drive.

Hikvision DS-7208HUHI-K2/P beeping after removing second drive

Yes whatever it is, it is only on the local interface; you can’t do it from a web browser. I think I had something similar on an NVR and I had to physically reconnect a drive in order to unload then delete then physically remove it.

Hikvision DS-7208HUHI-K2/P beeping after removing second drive

I can't remember. On mine I can 'unload' the drive and then possibly there's a delete option once that's done (I'm not going to do that on a working system for obvious reasons). The drive may need to be installed for that option to appear (needed it to delete it prior to unplugging it faulty or...

Hikvision DS-7208HUHI-K2/P beeping after removing second drive

You need to delete the drive in the menu rather than just disconnect it which you can do that from the local menu. When you've done that you should only see an entry for the working drive. No that's incorrect. The interface sees it as missing but is unaware that you've purposely disconnected...

    VCA Engine Configuration?

What firmware version is the NVR on? I'd make sure you're up to date.
  13. JB1970

    VCA Engine Configuration?

New model NVRs refer to 'VCA by Camera' and 'VCA by NVR' so it's obvious which is doing the AcuSense processing. 'AI by Device' is a little ambiguous as you need to be sure whether 'Device' is referring to the NVR or the camera. To be certain you are setting the channels the correct way for...

    VCA Engine Configuration?

That's correct. Camera settings, whether programmed via the NVR or directly on the camera are stored on the camera. For instance if I grabbed a brand new NVR now and set the admin password for it the same as my current one, then plug my cameras into it, all smart events will be there as...

    VCA Engine Configuration?

You would do the 'Restore to default settings' and not the 'Restore to factory settings'. It should keep your network and user account information. You'll likely have to reprogram everything else. Just set up your AcuSense camera channels as you want ensuring that on each channel that it's set...
