Will my Onvir support an 8MP Anpviz Camera?

Good evening,

I have purchased the following CCTV Camera.

IP Camera Model IPC-D280G-S

2020 Anpviz 8MP HD IP POE

Reading the Start Guide it says ; Make sure that your NVR will support 8MP

The NVR that I have is a Onvir XVision XRN 1609

Could you advise me please?

Looking at the datasheet online for this NVR model it would appear to only support up to 2MP (1080p) resolution and so is unlikely to support an 8MP camera.

As the camera you have is ONVIF compliant we would recommend you replace your current NVR with a new Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2/8P 8-channel NVR
