Which HIK turret cam - 3MP or 5MP?

Looking at upgrading my outdoor home cameras, as I am having a lot of trouble with sipiders on my current bullet cams.

So I have narrowed it down to two (I think) turret cams, the DS-2CD2335FWD and the DS-2CD2355FWD.

Obviously one is 3MP, and the other is 5MP. But the 3MP version has better low light capability (0.005lux vs 0.01 lux). I would likely be using the 2.8mm lens version, or possibly the 4mm.

Any advice appreciated.

Newer, more cost-effective EasyIP 2.0 Plus models.
They only lack some smarts e.g. left baggage detection.
