View Remote NVR on local NVR

hi,
Ive been searching all day and can't find anything...

is there anyway to access cameras on a remote Hikvision NVR on a local HIKVision NVR over the internet? Im sure it has something to do with HIK-Connect but cant seem to figure it out.

I found some old threads but nothing I try seems to work...

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe with a VPN or DDNS setup on the remote NVR. iVMS-4200 with Hik-Connect setup on the remote NVR would be the easiest way to do this.

I don't think Hik-Connect will help you with this.

I think you would need to port-forward any device (e.g. camera) you wanted to remote access.
So that the camera has a unique world wide web IP address and port where it can be reached.
