Hik-Connect Unable to download videos using Hik-Connect on iPhone?

Hi All,

Bit of an odd one. I can’t download videos when in playback mode that are recorded in the daytime. Night time, dawn or dusk work fine.

I have the following recorder:

DS-7608NI-i2/8P
Firmware: 4.61.025

iPhone running iOS 16.5.1
Hik-Connect version: 5.2.4 the latest available.

When trying to download via the app it get operation failed, video cannot be downloaded.

Any ideas?

Hi @Roheel

It is a strange one - have you ever been able to download daytime footage in the app from that NVR?
I'm going to test on an I-Series, but have not had any problems on other NVRs with the same iOS and Hik-Connect versions.

Just to double-check, is it the NVR that you have connected to the app, rather than the cameras?
Also, what are the camera models and how are they connected to the NVR?
Can you also share a screenshot of the recording schedule, please?
