It's simply a tailor-made hard disk caddy that mounts directly to the top or bottom of the VCC-HD4000 Sanyo camera.
It takes a 2.5" SATA hard disc (essentially a laptop drive).
It's supplied with everything you need except the disk drive e.g. small mounting brackets, screws, USB connecting cable.
The HDD caddy is powered from the camera (either the POE source or the 12/24 volt source).
If the power supply fails, the camera shuts the drive down safely.
