System removed from iPhone & tablets

Good morning I’ve just been asked to check cameras as alarm was activated ,when I went to tablet device has disappeared from there and my iPhone , I’ve since been told Ethernet cable was replaced ,and know I’ve lost device ,I’m new to this any help would be great thank you

Firstly I would check the devices have been plgged in correctly and there are no loose connections, could be a dodgy cable.
If nothing else has changed then there is no reason changing the cable itself should cause the camera to dissapear.

I assume youve tried power cycling the NVR or camera?
