It came as something of a surprise to our team to realise only this week that the current version of Hikvision's 7604 4-camera NVR, the (B) version, is in fact fanless, and therefore silent!
It has never been mentioned.
Hikvision have never stated it.
No customer has ever commented.
We never noticed it before.
@Dan spotted the fact when installing a test HDD (10TB BTW) in our demo unit this week.
We were aware that the (B) variant introduced the h.265+ CODEC.
We knew that Hikvision had dropped the ANPR capability on this (B) variant.
We have updated our product page to reflect this, to mention that it is silent / fanless.
