I have upgraded firmware for my DS-2CD2T43G0-I8 camera to the latest available and I was trying out some new features. In particular, I was interested in HTTPS support and I was testing out Websocket(s). But now I can no longer connect to the camera configuration page (video streaming is working perfectly though). I have enabled Virtual Host, but once I click the Connect URL (http://192.168.1.123:65001/) I get redirected to https://192.168.254.2, this is camera's POE IP (internal IP) and it is of course unreachable. In my case, it would be complicated to perform a settings reset procedure with a push button because it is hard to reach the camera. I do not have POE injector, so I cannot connect my camera directly into computer. Is there any way to reset camera's settings, e. g. by sending a command over the LAN?

I'm not sure why you are not able to reach it via Virtual Host at its NVR-managed IP address.
Are you using Internet Explorer?
You could try connecting your PC/laptop to another of the NVR's camera ports.
Setting your PC/laptop's NIC to that domain range, and then accessing the camera at the 192.168.254.2 address

Yes, I am using Internet Explorer. I have also tried other internet browsers, but they did not allow to connect as well. I can connect to other cameras via Virtual Host, only that one camera is unreachable right now.
Which one? How should the whole URL look like? http://192.168.1.123/???
I am not sure I understand how that will work. Let's say I set my notebook's IP address to 192.168.254.100 and connect it directly to NVR's LAN port. It should not work as NVR's IP address is set to 192.168.1.123 and it's default gateway is set to 192.168.1.254.
Have you tried changing the camera IP via the SADP tool?
Another option is to connect your laptop directly to one of the POE ports on your NVR with 192.168.254.100 set on your laptop's NIC. You will be able to view 192.168.254.2 via the web GUI on a browser. I have done this on several occasions.

I have, but it only detects my NVR and none of the cameras that are connected to it.
That was one of the first things I have tried before posting here. But my Dell notebook was not able to connect to it (it was saying "Network cable unplugged"). However, based on your encouragement, I have tried my old HP notebook today and it was able to connect. I have successfully reset my camera's settings and it is working as intended now. Thanks!
