Previously used Hikvision camera not being detected by my new NVR?

What would you do if a camera which already has a password (which I know) but isn't being detected by new NVR, SADP or IVMS. It's only detected in the old NVR where it was first activated.

(I have access to old NVR and it's activation password)

If the camera has a physical reset pushbutton, then that would be the easiest option i.e. connect it to the new NVR and reset it.

This is going to be my last resort option.

Just waiting on a new switch to arrive then i'll try this.
