Plugins for Safari on IPad

Hi I have a Hikvision easy ip system set up and using ivms 4500 can get live view and playback ok via local wifi but when using safari and ddns I get no plug in detected. I am led to believe plugins can't be added to Safari and as things stand the system isn't really any use if I can't view remotely, does any one know of a work round or a browser that will work on iPhone or iPad .
