Nvr connection

Good day to you
I have 56 pcs hikvision ip cameras connected to different switches which are interlinked.
I want sected cameras to be in a specific Nvr but when I connected them on the network, cameras are on and off and some appearing on both machines.
I have connected two cables from the switch, one to the lab port and the other to the meeting Nvr poe port.
Is this the correct way..

Hi @MWATHA

The usual way of setting up NVRs with cameras that are not directly connected is to connect the NVR to the network via the LAN port and then the cameras to switches elsewhere on the network and then you can add the cameras manually using their IP addresses and select which ones you add to which NVR. There is no need to have 2 connections between the NVR and the switch (e.g. LAN port and PoE)
