I was trying to prevent needing to use authentication on my LAN and I enabled a setting in the configuration that put in place a filter

I was trying to allow access from 192.168.1.0/24 but it didn't like that so I used 192.168.1.0...... and locked myself out.

Any ideas how I get back in?

I can't even access my other camera - which I can access the webui on - from telnet. Perhaps its disabled?

Can you access the camera from the wan side of your network? Use your public iP address and add port 80.

i've set my ip address to 192.168.0.0 and whilst I can ping it now, theres no response from the webpage

What camera model please?
Use the hard reset pushbutton and start again?

Its a DS-2CD2345FWD-I
I'll have to retrieve it and go for a hard reset as you suggest

Thanks for your help
