Hi, I'm new to the forum. I did a software update on my Samsung S8 last night and since then the Hikvision 4500 app isn't working for me, when I try and log in it keeps saying 'Network Exception', my son and wife can still view it on their phones though. I've uninstalled the app and reloaded but it makes no difference, does anyone have any idea what it might be?
 
Not really.
Reinstall the App was a sensible first thing to try.
I know it is only your phone that has changed, but sometimes restarting the NVR can bring services back to normal.
It's also worth checking Hikvision's portals for your devices and making sure that they are all running the latest firmware version.
 
Is the Hikvision app offline again, cant get into either the old app or the 4500 one.
 
I've just discovered my broadband was down, I'm away so got someone to go and check, that's all it was, working now, thanks though .
