Multiple consumers of streams

I appear to have an issue with my cameras - DS-2CD2345FWD-I

The NVR I am using is a software based solution - Shinobi Video -Shinobi - Simple CCTV and NVR Solution - Home

I've also got a couple of other systems I want to consume the videos - a tablet I have mounted to a wall, and also Home Assistant.

It looks like there is contention between the various systems accessing the streams and they fail when another device starts streaming.
Is there a way to resolve this?

We've never been hands-on with the Shinobi software, but would not normally expect the camera to have any difficulty in streaming to a few devices at once.
