Max Size settings Smart Event

im wondering if you can help me i have the DS-2CD2135FWD and im unable to remove the "max size" setting in the smart event option, i press clear it disappears then i press " save " but when i come off the selected page and return back to the smart event page its back there again. I tried the factory reset using the hikvision page in safari and its still there and as a result the smart event is not picking anything up , only the " motion settings " pick up movement and that picks up everything including the wind lol which is a pain. do you have any suggestions?

My first thought is that it'll be due to using Safari, and some issue of incompatibility.
Unfortunately, still lots of problems when using Macs with Hikvision right now.
Do you have a PC you can use to get past this?

Hi thanks for the quick reply . I have windows parallels for mac and i have tried that , but to help further with this i currently have 8 cameras running one being a PTZ and all hikvision and none of these have this problem using safari so im at a road block . I was wondering if im missing something because im able to delete the Max settings size on the others. Again thank you for the quick reoly

Do you have other cameras of this same model that are working OK?
What firmware version is it using?
Have you checked the portals for a newer firmware version?
