Liveview issues direct from Cameras

I recently installed 2 cameras. Worked my way through getting them working (connected directly to NVR).

I can see the cameras live when connected to NVR via HDMI
I can see them live when logged into HIKconnect on my phone
I can see them live when logged into the NVR via the web.

I have virtual host enabled, when I click the link in Camera management tab to go to the individual camera, I can connect to the interface no problem, however I keep getting "Live View Failed" and can't see any live image (or playback etc..)

I did update the firmware of Cams to V5.6.0 (DS-2CD2343G0-I)...I could see them before that.

NVR f/w is 3.4.100 (7604-NI-K(B))

Any help on this issue would be great!

Not sure if an IP setting or not!! what should the IPv4 Address be for each camera? Virtual Host assigned them an address automatically it seems...

I added a 3rd camera on original f/w V5.5.51 and magically that one works out of the box on LIve View after clocking its individuallink under camera management- I'll try roll back the firmware of one of the other cameras and see if that solves anything (if it allows me to roll it back!).....I'll update in case its a f/w issue.

Firmware upgrade to V5.6.1 now coming back as "upgrading failed" using the web portal but managed to upgrade directly via NVR. Still not showing Live View of the camera via their individual login

It would not allow a roll back of the firmware. Who said upgrading helps :)

Solved! It seemed there was a plugin issue with my Internet explorer which when upgraded allowed the newly upgraded f/wcameras to work on Live View.........no idea why!

Feel a bit silly now but I'll leave the thread up as it might help someone else!
