Update 21st May 2019 - superseded by V3.0.1.7 - Latest version of Hikvision's SADP tool for Windows users (V3.0.1.7)

Hikvision have just released a new version of their SADP utility for Windows users.

You can download it from here:

The Release Notes are attached.

Installation of this new version was very quick on my machine.
It downloads as a .exe file, so no need to unzip AND it installs without the need to run through an uninstall of the previous version.

NB - You can access the user manual in pdf format via the info icon and "User Help" link at the top right within SADP.

(The "Check for Update" link did not work for me)

I sure wish Hikvision would something to accommodate those of us with 4K screens, because the program is unusable. Can't see anything because the fonts are unreadable.

Interesting feedback, we've not seen/heard this before.
We don't have any 4K monitors on Windows PCs.
We have 4K monitors and even a 55" 4K TV HDMI connected directly to NVRs.
We also look at SADP on an iMac with a 5K retina display.

Could you perhaps upload a photo of this issue on-screen?

I have actually reported it to our technical contact at Hik.
He says he'll feed it back to HQ.
I think maybe you're first to point it out

Thanks for the heads up. I just installed it. With reference to the problem I showed above, a little progress has been made but it's not fixed. The column labels are now readable on a 4K screen, but all other fonts are still microscopic - the header, the menu to the right, the logoff confirmation box...
