Hi,
I have 5 R6 cameras connected to a Synology NAS.
I sue iVMS-4200 to manage cameras including configuration.
In iVMS-4200 go in Storage Schedule-->"select a camera"-->" Recoridng Schedule"-->Advance Settings-->Keep record files for XX days-->OK--> Save (right upper corner)
The XX value input there is not saved and it goes back to 0.

Any suggestion?

Regards
Ugo

Well, actually I use the iVMS-4200 application and not the browser to do this...

Is it working at all?
Does IVMS-4200 have any access/control over the storage space on your NAS?
How to connect a Hikvision camera to a Synology NAS

Hi Phil,
Yes, everything is controlled through iVMS-4200: Camera configuration, Storage settings, schedule and all the rest. I can access all 6 cameras but I cannot set this parameter in any of them.

And in the iVMS Manual is clearly described:

I have created 6 100Gb volumes on the Synology NAS, and addressed each of them propelry on iVMS-4200. Schedule and recording are fine, but there is no way to restrict the number of days recordings are kept. This may cause trouble with the new privacy regulation (GDPR) where the perido of days a registration is maintained must be communicated.

Thanks for your support.

Andrea

But a new version has been released on the Hivision Download Portal: 2.7.1.4!
