iVMS Unable to set camera settings

Hi,

We have a DS9632NII8 NVR with some DS2CD2383G0I cameras attached

I seem to be unable to change the image settings (resolution framerate etc) from the iVMS application for one of these cameras. Other setting pages work fine and other cameras work fine.

I have performed a factory reset on the camera but still no joy

The error I am getting from iVMS is: SaveVideo ParametersFailed.Error Code HCNetSDK.dll[11].(Data error. The data sent to or received from the device is incorrect)

Is your camera running the latest firmware (V5.5.82)?

Step 1 is always going to be to check that all your Hikvision devices are running the latest firmware, before we start trying to diagnose any issues.

The latest (recommended) firmware for your NVR is V4.1.63:

[.64 may be OK, .70/.71 is not]

I'm afraid we do not have (there doesn't seem to be) a lookup table for the error codes

Brilliant, thanks for the link as navigating their site beat me!

Seems as though the upgrade from 5.5.80 to 5.5.82 did the trick - just odd that all the other cameras running 5.5.80 worked fine
