Why do I have so many problems with iVMS4200?

One of the most irritating things about it happened again this morning. i have the icon on my task bar and it usually requires a simple click to open and run it but, quite often it just will not do that and, I get a message that "The client is already running". It doesn't matter how many times I try to open it, that message will just keep on appearing and I end up removing the app and starting again from scratch.

Has anyone got a decent 'fix' for this problem please?

Sometimes when you close it, it does not actually close and kill all the background processes, they "hang" in the background for whatever reason. So that's when you will get that message.

Assuming you are on Windows, you should be able to press ctrl+alt+del and go to the Task Manager, find the ivms process in the list, click on it and press End task button to force-kill it.
