Is it advantageous to upgrade NVR DS-7608NI-I2/8P HDD to SkyHawk AI drive?

Hey guys,

I have a 4 camera DS-2CD2347G2-L(U) setup using a DS-7608NI-I2/8P NVR. I'm adding another 2 cameras and looking to upgrade my NVR HDD to keep up. I'm currently using a 2TB Skyhawk drive (ST2000VX003) and wondering about the value of upgrading to the 8TB AI drive (ST8000VE001):

Is there any point in upgrading to the AI drive for this NVR model or should I just stick with the cheaper non-AI drive (ST8000VX004).

The manufacturers information details that they can better handle the multiple streams of video and analytics metadata - so that would be referring to the VCA data sent with the video stream if you have Dual VCA enabled in the camera. I have the 10TB version installed in mine and I can't say I've noticed a difference in performance.
