Hi All, first post. I've been looking at your Hikvision range of kit & especially the 8MP turret cameras. My question is do these have to be mounted horizontal or can they be mounted vertically against a wall? Also will they need junction boxes if mounting vertically on a wall? Finally will the 4mm be best for height of 3-4m. These will be mounted on front, side & back garden? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can mount them to a vertical wall.
You may need a junction box or mounting arm.
Almost all Hikvision cameras have an attached flying lead or pigtail that you need to connect to.
You need to accommodate that connection, to make it secure and weatherproof.
For the sample videos on our YouTube channel we used a 6mm turret camera mounted at approximately 4.5m high (the garden width is 9m).
