I’m trying to get sound to work on my CCTV system.
My setup is as follows
1x NVR 7708NI-I4 running 4.22.005 build 191208
1x DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS running V5.4.5 build 170302
1x DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZHS running V5.4.5 build 170302
6x 2CD2385FWD-I running 5.6.3 build 190923
now I’ve been playing with this system for a year or two to get sound without luck. I’m now on my second microphone as the other wasn't powered so I thought that might have something to do with it, I wire them both up via the ANPR camera inputs including taking the power from the camera (which lights the microphones power LED) and then tried to listen live/recordings via an HDMI lead into my TV. Thinking that maybe these units don’t transmit sound via HDMI I tried to listen on the app live and playback and nothing, I believe I have selected all the correct audio settings on the devices.
Has anyone had the same issue or does anyone have any thoughts on what settings I should have?
I’ll try and post a picture of the current microphone I tried on the setup.
