Hikvision PVR and Ctronics cam

Hi new here looking for a bit of advice.
I have a Hikvision NVR and 4 Hikvision cameras that record on motion yet when I added a Ctronics dome camera to the NVR and set up in the same way it just records 24/7 even though in web set up on cam is set to motion only and in NVR motion detect still it just records 24/7 is there something I am missing or can this camera not work with the Hikvision PVR in this way ?

Sorry, I've never heard of Ctronics cameras.
As you say, the integration functions may be limited.

Thanks for the reply It was a cheapish camera off amazon and it works fine except for that one thing that I just cant get it to do motion detection and only constant recording. When I get some time off I will try to have a play around and see if I can figure it out.
