You may have found that push notifications to the HikVision IVMS-4500 App have stopped working if you have G1 series (aka EasyIP 3.0) cameras and have upgraded them to the latest V5.5.0 / 5.5.2 / 5.5.3 firmware.
HikVision introduced an additional security setting which you now need to adjust for use with the IVMS-4500 App (push notifications to the Hik-Connect App should remain fine with default settings).
Navigate to Configuration -> System -> Security
In the "WEB Authentication" field please change the setting from 'digest' to 'digest/basic'
Click Save
This should restore push notifications to the IVMS-4500 App
HikVision also say:
We recommend using our new mobile software Hik-Conect, which doesn’t need to change this, and provides a more reliable method!
Update 25th February 2020 - Firmware mentioned above has been superseded by V5.6.4: Latest HikVision Firmware for G1 Series cameras - version V5.6.4
