I have Hikvision DS7608NI K2 8P Nvr and works just fine. I am trying to configure it to a Nas and cloud storage but it just doesn't work.

Cloud storage - I just don't get this option in storage management. Am I running an older firmware of this NVR and how do I upgrade if I am. The firmware it has is 3.4.97 build 171031.

NAS - Is there a way it can store just pics or alarm in the Nas and not everything? Also do I really need to format my Nas as I am using it as a shared Nas and dont want to loose all other stuff?

Unfortunately, there is no cloud storage option currently available with HikVision NVRs.

I guess you could select to ftp just certain events to space on your NAS.

I dont even get the ftp option in this NVR .

Should I be going for a different model ?

it doesnt give me the option to FTP .. would that be because of firmware ?
