Hikvision Intrusion Detection 'The Camera does not support this function'

I have a DS-7208HUHI-K1 with a DS-2CE56H1T-ITME Camera.

Using iVMS-4200 to configure 'Smart Event' \ 'Intrusion Detection'. However, when checking the box to enable the setting and clicking 'Save', I get a pop up error message 'The camera does not support the funtion'.

Oddly enough, I can use iVMS to enable this feature on my other cameras which includes an older Qvis dome camera.

Any suggestions as to what I may have missed?

Sorry, I'm afraid I have nothing to offer - we only work with IP cameras and NVRs.

Somebody with experience of Hikvision's analogue solutions may come along and be able to help, or you might find help elsewhere on the web.
