Hikvision - Firmware failed

Hi

Please can you help, i tried to update the firmware on my hikvision NVR (DS-7608N-E2/8P) due to the gmail SSL issue. Everything was going well until the device failed to restart. i now get 15 bleeps,

The nvr was purchased via ebay (china) looks like i applied the wrong firmware. Please can i have some help to get the NVR back online.

Hi ,
looks like that your nvr crashed when you try to update maybe wrong firmware,
So the only thing you can do is via TFTP upgrade with right firmware version.

Hello, did you managed to correct this error? I have similar problem right now, and tftp recovery don't work. So it is not showing anything in monitor, does not sends or receives anything by ethernet, just blinking that it is connected to ethernet.

Hi ,

if you make all steps correct (with tftp tool ) and it doesn't work you can not make anything else .You must return dvr where you buy. Maybe needs flash upgade.

Thanks for your reply, dvr is not new and will not be covered by any guarantee, so I will have to utilize it

I have a similar problem, seems common with these HikVision camera, they do not make sure that firmware is OK.

Mine seemed OK but left with a brick.

HIK SADP tool does not see it.

Can't use tftp as it does not get an IP address

Any ideas?

I have the same problen. My NVR is bricked :-(
Where can I find the right firmware?
I also have the DS-7608N-E2/8P

Where can i find the original firmware ?
Hikvision seems to hide it.
